Slawomir Baranowski is a recognised and successful boatbuilder who has been building top-of-the-range yachts since 2002.
Each of his Optimst models (BlueBlue, then BlueMagic and the last Blue2.) has won regattas and titles from national championships, continental championships as well as team and individual world championships.
Fighter is a new boat that has already proven to be a game changer.
After the development and testing period, the production of the Fighter started in April and the effects are immediately visible. Fighter has won several regattas where the competition was fierce. It won the most important race in Puck, Poland and the first qualifiers for the World and European Championships. Furthermore, it has shown great results in Garda in the spring of 2022. In addition, Ukraine took a World Championship silver with the model. This is a great start and it is an exciting future for the optimist model.
